In 2023, a young man (19 years) with a restless imagination and a love for stories joined his church's media team. He didn't have a camera. He didn't have formal training. What he had was a hunger to see the world through a lens, and a leader wise enough to recognize it.
Under the leadership of Sam-Kingsley Nii Obliteye Ashong Jr., Dzata was handed something rare: an opportunity. He started filming Sunday services and all-night programs with nothing more than an iPhone XS Max, a phone, not a cinema rig. But in his hands, it was enough. Because what he was truly wielding wasn't a device. It was a vision.
Frame by frame, service by service, the passion deepened. He wasn't just capturing moments, he was telling stories. And storytelling, he realized, was always what he was made for.
By Oct. 2024, that passion had a name: Dzata Media.

Behind every dreamer, there is someone who quietly makes the dream possible. Felix Donkor is that person for Dzata Media.
A good friend, a brother from another mother, Felix stepped in without hesitation and gave what many wouldn't: his time, his ideas, and his iPhone 13, which became the lens through which Dzata Media's early vision truly came to life.
No spotlight. No fanfare. Just pure, selfless sacrifice. Dzata Media would not be what it is today without Felix. He is not just a co-founder, he is the backbone of a story still being written.
